The Whole Person – Whole Family Psychiatrist

My passion is helping people experience true wellness. I strongly believe that there is a wholesome, healthy solution to all of life’s struggles, including mental health, emotional trauma, and behavioral issues. That is why I have dedicated my life to helping patients through child and family psychiatry.

“Whole person – whole family” is my motto. Our culture today, especially in Los Angeles, emphasizes prescriptions as “the solution.” This never really gets at the root of the problem. I can help you or your child find the power to overcome issues in a way that is wholesome, healthy, and lasting. I offer treatment for everything from anxiety and depression to attention disorders, behavioral disorders like OCD, and brain injuries (TBI).

My Approach & Methods
This is especially important when looking for the right “fit.” I work to develop you or your family member’s inner strengths with the goal of transformation to your highest potential self. I believe in a “whole person – whole family” approach. When I help a patient learn how to deal with anxiety, or overcome depression, or focus at work, it has a direct impact on everyone who knows them, too. My patient becomes a better version of themselves, which makes them a better friend, student, employee, child, or parent. This creates a domino effect that pass into the next generation, and the generation after that. That’s what “whole person – whole family” means to me.
Pharmacological Intervention
I use a holistic approach to psychiatry, but I also recognize that pharmacological intervention is appropriate in some cases. When it is, I will diligently begin with the safest option available and I will counsel you on what other interventions are proven to be effective in conjunction with pharmacotherapy. When medication is not needed we start with nutritional supplements, lifestyle changes,  and dietary changes.
